A lash lift, also known as a lash perm or lash curl, is a service designed to enhance the appearance of natural eyelashes. Unlike eyelash extensions, which involve attaching synthetic fibers to the natural lashes, a lash lift works with the person's existing lashes to give them a lifted, curled appearance.
The lashes are carefully adhered to a curved silicone shield or rod placed along the eyelid to give them the desired shape. Once the lashes are positioned correctly, a lifting solution is applied to the lashes, followed by a setting solution to lock in the curl.
Some people may opt to combine a lash lift with a lash tint, which involves coloring the lashes to make them appear darker and more defined.
